Quinta da Devesa White
This wine is made from a careful selection of the best manually harvested white grapes from the top of the slopes deep in the valley. The bunches are fully de-stemmed and after pressing the juice is cold settled at 10º C for 48 hours to clarify the must and enhance the aromatic expression of the grape varieties. Fermentation
is done at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanksat 15º/16º C for 6 to 10 days. To enhance the flavours and give body to the wine, daily battonage is undertaken.
It is a slightly green, citrus colour, with fruity and intense aromas such as pineapple and lime. In the mouth it shows freshness and acidity as well as a good volume. This
overall makes the wine elegant, fresh and very persistent.
Drink chilled between 9 -10ºC.
A wine that works with richer dishes such as vegetable gratins, soufflés, chicken with tarragon and other fresh herb based dishes. BBQ white meat and fish are also a match made in heaven together with prawns and other seafood like oysters.
