In 1996 the Château Boutisse was bought by the Milhade family, winegrowers in the Libournais region since 1938. An estate of 25 ha located on the unique clay and limestone plateau of Saint Emilion a jewel of the family vineyards. The new generation, represented by Marc and Elodie, Xavier's children, continues to develop commercially and qualitatively the estate while respecting traditional values. The efforts made for several years permitted to place Château Boutisse among the best Saint Emilion Grand Cru. "We grow our vineyard according to methods, the most qualitative and respectful as possible, of our environment, the life of our soil and biodiversity.”
www.chateau-boutisse.frDark ruby in color, with a nose of sweet spices, mocha, toasty and caramel. A velvety mouth with elegant tannins and very nice length in the mouth, this wine has aging potential of 10-50 years.
It's perfect wine to pair with lamb, beef, game, poultry and cheeses.
No herbicides, respect for biodiversity, grassing of the rows between the vines, manual leaf removal, green harvest.

Do you deliver overseas?
Unfortunately we do not deliver overseas, to the Channel Islands and BFPO addresses
I missed my delivery. What do I do?
Our deliveries are made by a third party company. If you are unavailable to sign for the order the driver may leave the wine in a ‘safe’ place as specified by you whilst placing order. A card will be posted through your letterbox notifying you of where it has been delivered or how you can arrange a re-delivery. The courier will attempt to deliver your order twice after which time it will be returned to their depot for collection by you. If the wine has not been collected after 3 days it will be returned to us. Please note that unfortunately re-delivery will incur a charge. Any problems please contact us admin@glugwines.co.uk and we will do our best to sort things out.
Some items are missing/damaged in my delivery?
It is important to keep & check your delivery note – you should notify us immediately of any missing or damaged items. Our email address is admin@glugwines.co.uk
Can I order less then 6 bottles?
Yes of course however our Courier company will still charge £5 for delivery so it is more cost effective to order more.
Can I return un-opened bottles of wine?
Yes, that’s not a problem. All bottles should be unopened & intact with no label damage i.e. water damage. We will arrange a refund within 48 working hours of the goods being received & inspected. Email us at admin@glugwines.co.uk
I think my wine may be faulty?
We are really sorry to hear that. We will replace or refund any of our wines that are faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights. We will require faulty bottles to be returned to us. We will arrange this for you. Please email as at admin@glugwines.co.uk
