We focus on bottles with character, a relaxed room, and evenings that don't need a plan.Drink in or take away from a rotating selection of classic favourites and lesser-known bottles, alongside cheese, charcuterie and small plates served all day.Drop in for one glass before dinner or settle in for the evening.We always keep tables for walk-ins, but bookings are always welcome.

OUR STORY
Glug is a small neighbourhood wine bar and bottle shop in the heart of PutneyWe focus on wines with character — classic favourites alongside bottles you’re less likely to have tried, all chosen because they drink well and offer proper value.
We pour a regularly changing selection by the glass, and every bottle on the shelves is available to enjoy here or take home. Cheese, charcuterie and small plates are served all day.

Looking for somewhere warm, welcoming and wine-led for your next gathering?Glug is available for group bookings, private hire and relaxed tasting events, with space for 14–18 seated or up to 30 standing.
We can arrange guided wine tastings, help you choose the right bottles for the occasion, or even bring the tasting to you.
